Layla Omar
Operational and Administrative Supervisor
Layla joined Montreal City Mission in October 2022 as an Administrative Assistant and has since grown into the role of Operational & Administrative Supervisor. She now supports the day-to-day functioning of the organization and works closely with teams to coordinate workflows, maintain internal systems, and help resolve operational issues as they arise.
She plays a key role in ensuring a structured and efficient work environment by supporting staff with internal policies, resource coordination, and the smooth running of administrative processes.
Layla also contributes to the organization’s communications, including website updates, visual materials, and the coordination of major mailings.
She holds a BSc in Biology and Professional Writing from Concordia University, which supports her work in organization, communication, and operational management.
