What is a Living Gift?

A Living Gift is a way to honour a person you care about by giving a gift that makes a social contribution. This gift represents services or goods you buy from a charitable organization in lieu of a material gift for friends and loved ones.

What kinds of Living Gifts are available?

Camp Cosmos

15 $                 For 1 t-shirt with camp logo for a camper

25 $                 For one day’s worth of snack for the entire camp

35 $                 For a week at camp for 1 child

50 $                 For an art workshop for one group of kids

75 $                 For a science workshop

100 $               For a trip to the beach for the entire camp

400 $               To cover the cost of a shadow, a staff person who ensures the integration of a child with special needs, for 1 week

Every Kid Choir

15 $                 For 1 t-shirt with EKC logo

20 $                 Monthly honorarium for our 13 year old guitarist

25 $                 Snack for the practice

30 $                 For sheet music books

Ici Radio-Refuge

100 $               Domain name & web site hosting for 1 year

 

Project Refuge

10 $                 1 phone card to allow a resident to call home

18 $                 Bus pass for 1 week for a resident

50 $                 Gift certificate for winter boots or coat

250 $               Groceries for 1 week for Projet Refuge

Choose a gift from the options above & send a check for the amount of your gift to Montreal City Mission, 1435 City Councillors, Montreal, Qc H3A 2E4. Please include a note with the name of the person you wish to give the gift to and for what occasion.

Montreal City Mission will send you a certificate describing your gift and a card which you can present to the person(s) you have designated to receive the gift.
