Student Internship

Montreal City Mission provides law, social work, social science and theology students, with practical experience in community action and development in an urban context. Students gain hands-on, front-line experience through their work in the areas of refugee protection; issues pertaining to seniors and elder law; policy and program development, as well as networking with United Church sponsors, ecumenical contacts and partner organizations in the wider community. MCM internships afford students unique opportunities to acquire hands-on experience, acquaint themselves with new and innovative projects, gain a greater awareness of systemic problems while envisioning possible solutions, and to be exposed to an empowering organizational model of community social justice work.
MCM welcomes men and women from McGill University, Concordia University, and Université de Montréal, as well as occasional international students
