Montreal City Mission moved into the historic St. James United Church in December 2004, fulfilling a long-time dream to return to the city core and reconnect with St. James, a church community which contributed to the establishment of MCM in 1910. Project Refuge, MCM's transition residence for newly arrived refugee claimants, is located in Rosemont.

St-Alexandre street is between Bleury and City Councillors, and the entrance is just north of Ste. Catherine street. The closest metro stations are McGill and Place des Arts (Bleury exit).
